A smaller website publishes a genuinely useful guide. The author understands the subject, the examples come from practical experience, and the advice is more specific than anything offered by the largest competitors. Yet the page struggles to gain traction. Meanwhile, established brands occupy the first page with broader content, stronger backlink profiles, and years of name recognition. It is easy to conclude that building E-E-A-T is mainly a question of money. That conclusion is understandable, but incomplete. Large brands have advantages. They attract links more easily, earn mentions without asking, and already possess a recognizable reputation. Smaller sites cannot manufacture that history overnight.
